The Pan American Musical Arts Research (PAMAR) and Gitter Arts present a night of Tango & wine with the Binelli-Ferman Duo.
Master bandoneón composer & arranger Daniel Binelli and concert pianist Polly Ferman perform a selection of Piazzolla works, traditional tango, and original compotitions in a debut performance at City Winery, New York City's premier winery and concert hall.
A native of Argentina, Binelli has worked extensively with both Osvaldo Pugliese and Astor Piazzolla, two prominent figures in the history of Tango, joining Piazzolla's New Tango Sextet in 1989.
Since making their debut in January 2000 in New York City, the Binelli-Ferman Duo has toured extensively, with performances in Japan, China, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Russia, as well as cities across the US.
